To find a local trap and skeet range you can look online or in a phone book. Call several and see if they offer both single and double, trap, and wobble fields. You can also find out if they are hosting any competitions in the near future if you're looking to enter one. While some locations may accept both adult and youth to use the fields others may only allow a certain age group. Call before and ask what requirements you must meet to use the field. For those that are only beginning to hunt for wildlife you may want to get some practice in by using a trap and skeet range. By having targets in motion you can develop your skill at shooting objects so you have a better chance of getting your target when you're out on a real hunt. Some trap and skeet clubs may have their members go on a real hunting trip to shoot wildlife to put their skills to the test away from the field.
