Once you have chosen what type of hat you want, whether it's a baseball or cowboy hat, you can then concentrate on a hat retail store that carries that type. The easiest type of hat to find would be baseball hats with various team logos. The NHL and NFL have plenty of hats to choose from. Your favorite football or hockey team is sure to have a selection of styles to choose from. Cowboy hats will come in a variety of colors in western stores, including pink and red for the ladies. Stetson is a popular brand of cowboy hats with Fedoras and Stetson hats will usually be found with felt or straw material. Derby and gambler hats can come in fine leather or fur. When picking out a hat, sun protection could be a deciding factor in which one you buy. Golf caps can help shield the sun from your eyes, as well as complete your golfing outfit. MLB, NCAA, and NBA fans shouldn't worry either. Plenty of caps are available with their favorite team's logo. If you travel a lot, you may find certain hats don't travel as well as others. Top hats can be hard items to bring with you, while baseball caps are just the opposite. Women caps may not be sold in every store, while some may only have ladies hats to choose from. Fedoras are more of a specialty item and won't be carried in every retail store either. It's wise to call a hat retailer prior to making a visit to ensure the hate you're looking for is sold in that location. Western dance halls can be an easy place at finding a style you would like to buy before locating a store.

A hat is an item of clothing which is worn on the head. A hat may be either placed on the head or, in the case of some women's hats, secured with hat-pins (which are pushed through the hat and the hair). Many hats are intended only for men or for women, while other hats are fashionable on both sexes.
